The Department of Criminal Investigation led by Dhofar Police arrested eight persons of different nationalities for committing a number of theft crimes in Salalah. An official source at the Royal Oman Police said two of the suspects were arrested for robbery of six vehicles, while three were arrested for stealing power cables, two others for stealing from a house, while one was arrested for theft from a shop. All the accused have been referred to the judicial authorities to complete the proceedings.
